SharePoint Developer I (Early Career)
KBR is seeking an early-career SharePoint Developer to join their Business Applications team, supporting the Science & Space division. This role is ideal for professionals with 2-4 years of hands-on SharePoint Online experience who are looking to expand their skills in Microsoft 365 automation, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Nintex, within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical support and guidance for SharePoint Online, Microsoft PowerApps, Microsoft Power Automate, Nintex, and various other Microsoft Tools.
- Maintain and improve system availability, performance, and functionality.
- Be available after hours to provide emergency support – as needed.
- Gather and document functional requirements from user representatives to build solutions.
- Develop documentation of functional/technical design specifications.
- Configure SharePoint to support the requirements and design of proposed tools/sites.
- Produce and maintain documentation for SharePoint systems and solutions.
- Champion technical governance and guidelines for the Microsoft 365 automation tools and create/maintain processes related to those guidelines.
- Take responsibility for the quality of their work.
- Participate in planning, execution, and testing of tasks related to the evaluation of SharePoint and tools, version upgrades, 3rd party solutions, and integration with other applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree + 2-4 years SharePoint experience, OR 8 years relevant experience without a degree.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- The flexibility to adapt to new tools and technologies; candidate must be a self-starter who has a proven ability to work independently.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities, meet tight and fluid deadlines.
- Experience with the following is required:
- SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Power Apps
- Microsoft Power Automate (Flow)
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, Nintex, ShareGate, SPFx, or Power BI.
- Experience documenting functional or technical designs.
- Interest in learning and adopting standards.
Compensation & Benefits
Basic Compensation: $85,300-$128,000
The offered rate will be based on contract affordability and the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and / or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
