SharePoint Developer I (Early Career) | KBR

This is an early career role at KBR, supporting the Science & Space division. The Business Applications team is seeking a developer to enhance their Microsoft 365 automation capabilities. This position is crucial for providing functional and technical support for SharePoint Online and other Microsoft tools, ensuring optimal system availability and performance. What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide functional and technical support and guidance for SharePoint Online, Microsoft PowerApps, Microsoft Power Automate, Nintex, and various other Microsoft Tools.
• Maintain: Maintain and improve system availability, performance, and functionality, including providing emergency after-hours support as needed.
• Design: Gather and document functional requirements from user representatives to build solutions, developing functional/technical design specifications.
• Configure: Configure SharePoint to support the requirements and design of proposed tools/sites, producing and maintaining related documentation.
• Govern: Champion technical governance and guidelines for Microsoft 365 automation tools, creating and maintaining processes related to those guidelines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: U.S. Citizenship required. Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant SharePoint experience, OR 8 years of relevant experience without a degree. This is an early career position.
• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience, specifically required in SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Apps, and Microsoft Power Automate (Flow).
• Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, flexibility to adapt to new tools and technologies, proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, Nintex, ShareGate, SPFx, or Power BI; experience documenting functional or technical designs; and an interest in learning and adopting technical standards.
