This is an entry-level, full-time hybrid role at Cognizant, with primary locations in Englewood, CO, Plano, TX, or Mesa, AZ, requiring associates to be in the office at least two days a week. What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Engagement: Work on complex emerging technology and business projects to shape innovation in the healthcare industry.
• Software Development: Assist in designing and developing fully functional software products tailored to healthcare and user needs.
• Operations Bridging: Serve as part of a team to bridge development and operations functions, automating and streamlining processes.
• System Deployment: Collaborate with software engineering to deploy and operate systems.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve issues within dev, test, and production environments to ensure system functionality.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, for an entry-level position. Preferred majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Decision Sciences, Data Analytics/Data Science.
• Experience: Internship or academic experience with programming languages such as Java, .NET, C#, and PL/SQL. Internship or academic experience and/or certifications using cloud services like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams.
• Bonus: Interested in data, including Data Science, Data Analytics, Databases, large data sets, or data mining. Excited to work within the Healthcare domain. Self-motivated individual with the passion and appetite to learn newer technologies and establish best practices.
