Services Associate, Finance Services (Pricing) | Deloitte

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Deloitte, within its GPS practice, serving clients across the United States. Deloitte’s GPS practice is dedicated to making a lasting impact in Federal, State, Local Government, and Higher Education initiatives by delivering fresh thinking and creative approaches. This position is vital for providing strategic business advice to firm leadership and supporting the pursuit of new business opportunities through precise pricing activities for large-scale contracts. You will contribute to the ongoing success of Deloitte’s competitive advantage through specialized support and the development of new products and services.

• Mission: Own supporting pricing activities for large-scale contracts and strategic business opportunities within the GPS practice.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Pricing Development: Support the creation of proposal pricing for new business opportunities, including cost build-ups, pricing models, and financial analyses.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze labor, material, subcontractor, and indirect cost inputs to develop compliant and competitive pricing submissions.
• Documentation Preparation: Prepare pricing for internal stakeholders and business leadership, as well as proposal submission documents like price schedules and narratives.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with proposal, finance, contracts, and business teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and meet submission deadlines.
• Records Management: Maintain pricing files, documentation, and audit trails in accordance with internal processes and requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or another quantitative field.
• Experience: 1+ years in pricing, project control, finance, accounting, or business analysis; 1+ years developing budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, or pricing models in Microsoft Excel; 1+ years supporting proposals, contracts, or engagement financial activities; experience analyzing labor, material, subcontractor, and indirect cost inputs.
• Skills: Cost modeling and build-up, Financial analysis, Budgeting and forecasting, Proposal pricing development, Meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: 1+ years supporting proposal pricing for Federal, State, Local Government, or Higher Education proposals; experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation pricing principles; experience building pricing models for fixed-price, time-and-materials, or cost-reimbursable contracts; experience preparing financial analyses for leadership review.
