Key Responsibilities
- Food & Beverage Service: Efficiently take, deliver, and clear food and beverage orders.
- Station Management: Ensure your station is properly set up and clean before, during, and after each shift.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, courteously, and explain daily specials or restaurant promotions.
- Order Processing: Accurately input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system for kitchen communication.
- Order Delivery & Accuracy: Retrieve orders from the kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver them promptly to guests.
- Guest Satisfaction: Continuously ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
- Alcohol Service Compliance: Adhere strictly to all state and federal regulations, as well as restaurant liquor policies, regarding serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Teamwork & Attitude: Maintain a positive attitude and contribute effectively within a team atmosphere.
- Sales-Oriented Approach: Dedicate yourself to becoming a “seller” rather than just an “order taker,” actively promoting menu items.
- Quality & Standards: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and consistently adhere to all company specifications and quality standards.
- Safety & Sanitation: Understand and diligently practice safety and sanitation policies at all times.
Requirements
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of previous serving experience is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
- Demeanor: Must possess a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrate a high level of organization, cleanliness, and a strong sense-of-urgency.
- Availability: Flexible schedule is required, with the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
