Job Responsibilities
- Food and Beverage Service: Efficiently take, deliver, and clear food and beverage orders.
- Station Management: Ensure your station is properly set up and clean before, during, and after your shift.
- Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly and courteously, explaining daily specials and any current restaurant promotions.
- Order Accuracy: Accurately input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system for the kitchen and confirm order accuracy upon retrieval before delivery to guests.
- Guest Satisfaction: Continuously ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
- Alcohol Service Compliance: Adhere strictly to all state and federal regulations, as well as restaurant liquor policies, regarding serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain a positive attitude and contribute effectively to a team atmosphere.
- Sales-Oriented Approach: Demonstrate dedication to being a proactive “seller” rather than just an “order taker.”
- Quality Assurance: Exhibit strong attention to detail and consistently adhere to all company specifications and quality standards.
- Safety & Sanitation: Understand and practice safety and sanitation policies at all times.
Requirements
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of previous serving experience is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
- Demeanor: Must possess a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrate a high level of organization, cleanliness, and a strong sense-of-urgency.
- Availability: Flexible schedule required, with the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
