What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance web applications and services.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver new features.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern software development practices.
• Code Review & Standards: Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with an experienced understanding of fullstack or backend software development.
• Experience: 5+ years in fullstack or backend software development, including designing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and utilizing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Python, Node.js, Go, Java, Ruby); expertise in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js); solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra); strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and system architecture.
• Bonus: Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ); familiarity with testing frameworks and automation; experience with performance optimization and scaling distributed systems; contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile; knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
