Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and other engineering teams, to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages like Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of systems.
• Mentor junior engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices in software development.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed to support critical services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a significant focus on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++).
• Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure services (e.g., compute, storage, networking, databases, serverless).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design principles.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a strong attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in tech communities.
