What You’ll Actually Do
• Design Systems: Architect, implement, and deploy highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and performant cloud-native services.
• Automate Infrastructure: Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm charts for consistent environments.
• Guide Engineering: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, fostering best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Optimize Performance: Identify and resolve complex performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and operational issues across distributed systems.
• Ensure Operations: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, and participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level software engineer with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, specializing in large-scale cloud infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Experience: 5+ years in software development with deep hands-on experience in major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (Go, Python, Java, C++, or Rust); strong understanding of distributed systems concepts; solid grasp of networking fundamentals and security best practices for cloud environments; experience with various data storage technologies.
• Bonus: Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with observability tools; strong understanding of operating systems (Linux); contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio.
