What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and develop complex software modules and features using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and actively participate in architectural discussions regarding system design, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct thorough code reviews for peers, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and operational issues in a timely manner.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on backend systems, and demonstrated experience designing and building scalable APIs (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or Node.js); strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles; extensive experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra); familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Additionally, solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, and strong communication and collaboration abilities are required.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems; familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ); prior experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines; contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile; experience working in a high-growth environment; or knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
