About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications that form the core of our product offerings. You will lead by example, contributing to architectural decisions, mentoring junior engineers, and championing best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain complex software systems and applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Lead technical discussions, contribute to architectural reviews, and make informed decisions on technology choices and system design.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality, security, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define specifications, plan features, and deliver integrated solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues in production and development environments.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence within the team.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.

What You’ll Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong portfolio of shipped products or significant project contributions.
• Technical Prowess: Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript) and related frameworks.
• System Design: Proven experience in designing and building scalable, distributed systems, microservices, and APIs.
• Database Skills: Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to debugging and optimization.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Leadership: Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small technical projects is a significant advantage.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban).
