Manager, Treasury Technology | Mashreq

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mashreq, located in the United Arab Emirates. Mashreq is a financial institution focused on transforming its banking and wealth platforms and trading systems. This role is pivotal in leading and executing a treasury technology transformation program across the Trading Cluster, implementing critical systems, and driving the digitization of treasury technology to support strategic business objectives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead, plan, direct, and execute a treasury technology transformation program across the Trading Cluster.
• Implement: Oversee the implementation of Integral, LSEG, XLR8, Meta Trader, and Trade Net platforms.
• Strategize: Define the delivery roadmap and implementation timelines for digital transformation initiatives within the Trading area.
• Enable: Build internal organizational capabilities and frameworks to adopt rapid deployment techniques utilizing agile or similar methodologies.
• Collaborate: Manage stakeholder relationships across Mashreq Bank, including the TCM Trading desk, to ensure alignment and fulfillment of requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: BS/B.Tech Degree with in-depth knowledge of Banking/Treasury, particularly in products implementations for large-scale programs, and front office treasury experience.
• Experience: More than 12 years of experience in a similar role with concrete evidence of direct management of complex, end-to-end systems implementation programs, including cross-border and cross-functional team management.
• Skills: Expert knowledge of new market trends related to technology and experience implementing Treasury and wealth technology solutions; expertise in implementation methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, with proficiency in reporting and tracking tools; strong program management, general management, and organizational leadership qualities; deep knowledge and experience in stakeholder and vendor management.
• Bonus: MS/M.Tech. preferred; well versed in digital technologies, including cloud strategy, automation, and key technology/vendor solutions; firsthand knowledge of new digital trends such as open APIs, microservices, and open/closed ecosystems.
