The Role

As a Senior Product Manager specializing in AI & Machine Learning, you will play a pivotal role in defining, developing, and launching innovative products and features that leverage artificial intelligence to solve complex customer problems. You will own the product roadmap from conception to delivery, translating market needs and technical capabilities into compelling product offerings. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding of AI/ML, and exceptional execution skills to guide products through their entire lifecycle in collaboration with engineering, data science, design, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy for AI/ML-driven features and products, aligned with overall company goals and market opportunities.
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and new opportunities in the AI/ML landscape.
• Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a clear, prioritized product roadmap, balancing long-term strategic initiatives with short-term tactical needs and stakeholder priorities.
• Feature Definition & Execution: Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, with a strong emphasis on data science and machine learning capabilities. Work closely with engineering and data science teams through agile development cycles.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with engineering, data science, UX/UI design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption.
• Performance Monitoring & Iteration: Define key metrics, monitor product performance post-launch, analyze data, gather user feedback, and iterate on products to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and results to internal and external stakeholders, building consensus and alignment.
• Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and relevant industry trends, and evangelize best practices within the organization and externally.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2-3 years specifically focused on AI, machine learning, or data-intensive products.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution for complex technical products from conception to launch.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and development lifecycles (e.g., model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Preferred:
  • Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Technical background (e.g., former software engineer, data scientist).
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS products and understanding of enterprise customer needs.
