Senior Private Client Banker – San Antonio Center – Mountain View | JPMorgan Chase

• Mission: Manage complete banking relationships for affluent clients, proactively generating balance growth and helping them achieve their financial goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Focus: Put clients first and exceed their expectations by sharing the exclusive benefits of the new Private Client tiered product suite and relationship program with qualifying clients.
• Relationship Management: Actively manage clients’ and their families’ banking relationships with a personalized, advice-driven approach, resolving issues and ensuring premium products, service, and pricing.
• Consultative Communication: Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and assist clients, asking questions, listening to anticipate needs, and building trust.
• Collaborative Planning: Collaborate with Private Client Advisors and Private Client Investment Associates to offer comprehensive family and life planning services for clients and their beneficiaries.
• Dedicated Support: Serve as a dedicated point of contact to simplify clients’ lives by resolving banking issues on their behalf, maintaining a holistic view of their products and interactions with JPMorgan Chase.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level. High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent, with core domain knowledge in branch banking or financial services sales.
• Experience: 2+ years in Branch Banking Banker or equivalent financial services sales, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, and revenue generation. Required licenses include the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses, which must be obtained through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire if currently unlicensed.
• Skills: Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to deepen client relationships; excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor product features and benefits; ability to resolve client issues quickly and effectively with attention to detail; ability to operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations.
• Bonus: College degree or military equivalent strongly preferred; experience cultivating relationships with affluent clients.
