Home Lending Advisor Assistant – New York, NY | JPMorgan Chase
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at JPMorgan Chase, located in New York, NY. JPMorgan Chase Home Lending helps customers achieve homeownership through a variety of financial products. This role is crucial in serving as a chief point of contact for customers throughout the loan process, supporting Home Lending Advisors, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. You will make a significant impact on business results by facilitating loan processes and contributing to strong sales.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Inquiry Handling: Take all initial inquiry calls for prequalification, complete applications, and request documentation from borrowers, reviewing them with Home Loan Advisor(s).
• Product and Pricing Discussion: Discuss products and pricing with customers at the request of, or in the absence of, Home Lending Advisor(s).
• Complex File Review: Proactively review complex files to identify potential problems with loan applications and develop workable solutions with Home Lending Advisor(s) prior to submission for processing.
• Pipeline Management: Manage the loan pipeline, consistently communicating updates to Home Lending Advisor(s) and keeping borrowers and builders informed on loan statuses, while also preventing pipeline fallout and quoting rates for pipeline floats.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a liaison between Home Lending Advisor(s), branch, processing center (if applicable), and a group of established realtors (20-30) to coordinate submissions and closings.
• Marketing Support: Coordinate and manage marketing efforts targeting buyers, sellers, realtors, and builders, and assist in staffing Realtor/builder open houses and trade shows.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
• Experience: A minimum of four years’ work experience in mortgage loan processing.
• Skills: Intermediate computer skills (familiar with MS Office products or similar software), excellent customer service skills, excellent written/oral communication, excellent organization skills, and the ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demands.
• Bonus: Marketing and advertising experience.
