The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Lowe’s Companies, located in a distribution center environment. Lowe’s is a FORTUNE® 100 home improvement company that supports communities through various programs and serves millions of customer transactions weekly. This role is critical for ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective flow of product throughout a distribution center, directly contributing to meeting store demand and supporting the company’s vast supply chain network.

• Team: Manages a team of Operations Supervisors; reports to senior leadership.
• Mission: To oversee all distribution center operations and the complete flow of product through the building.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, warehouse management systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee Operations: Direct all distribution center operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective movement of inventory.
• Supervise Team: Lead a team of Operations Supervisors, providing guidance and monitoring their efforts to manage product flow.
• Manage Resources: Analyze and forecast production volume, reevaluating and adjusting resources throughout the day as workflow conditions change.
• Drive Performance: Lead the team to achieve or exceed key performance indicator targets, adapting to fluctuating demands.
• Resolve Issues & Communicate: Address complex operational issues escalated by the team and effectively communicate business objectives and daily workload plans to both the team and senior leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field; this role is for a Senior Manager.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in distribution center operations with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 7+ years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations with increasing responsibilities; must include leadership experience with salary level direct reports, experience mentoring and coaching others, and experience leading a team through change.
• Skills: Proven record of complying with safety requirements and building a culture of safety; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
• Bonus: Experience managing resources, time, and budgets; experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems; experience taking a lead role in a Corporate-led initiative or leadership experience in another Lowe’s supply chain network facility; bi-lingual skills, if applicable to the facility.
