Senior Financial Analyst | DHL Supply Chain

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide comprehensive analytical support for all Accounting, Finance, and operational activities, including month-end close, payroll, warehouse productivity, and labor efficiency.
• Lead direct contact with customers to discuss billing, strategy, and budgets, while managing complex commercial discussions such as flex budgeting and KPI incentives.
• Prepare accurate month-end close accrual and reclass journal entries, and own the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Generate and analyze daily and weekly labor reports to provide insights into operations productivity and throughput.
• Audit vendor payables for accuracy, ensure appropriate approvals, and execute daily customer/vendor contract requirements, identifying and documenting accessorial activity.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A mid-level professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance, or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, demonstrating advanced accounting knowledge of P&L and balance sheets.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, advanced financial skillset including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: Logistics industry experience, working knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles, advanced presentation skillset, and willingness to travel.
