Senior Manager, FCRM KYC Program Risk | TD Bank
The Tone:

This role is crucial for ensuring the Know Your Customer (KYC) Program adheres to TD Bank Group policies and standards for Risk and Control Management (RCM), Operational Risk, and Financial Crime Risk Management. • Team: KYC Program Risk team, partnering with FCRM and Segment leadership
• Mission: Ensure the KYC Program adheres to TDBG policies and standards designed to meet commitments with respect to RCM, Operational Risk and Financial Crime Risk Management.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversight: Provide central oversight and governance of the KYC Program in Canada, including leading the KYC Program Sub-Committee.
• Reporting: Partner with the three lines of defense to compile and deliver comprehensive reports on program performance and compliance to stakeholders.
• Policy Development: Liaise with the central FCRM policy team on the development and implementation of the AML Policy and KYC/EDD Standards.
• Risk Assessment: Act as the principal point of contact within the KYC pillar for risk assessment processes, supporting oversight and assessment of KYC risks and controls.
• Audit & Remediation: Act as the principal point of contact for KYC related audits/regulatory exams and provide issue remediation oversight.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, coupled with core domain knowledge in Financial Crime Risk Management, Risk Management, or Compliance.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in Compliance or Risk Management. This includes demonstrated leadership in the development, implementation, and/or oversight of country-wide Policies or Standards, and experience with exam management and/or remediation. Financial Crime experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong risk, controls, and governance knowledge; effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with senior management; robust organizational skills to manage deadlines and priorities; excellent analytical skills in assessing risk and challenging the status quo; comfort navigating ambiguous and complex environments.
• Bonus: Masters degree preferred. Experience with Global policies or Standards. Experience with regulatory exams and/or remediation is preferred.
