The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, Largo, FL
• Pay: $86800–$165200 yearly
• Team: Program’s business management team
• Mission: This person serves as a key leader within the program’s business management team, owning the responsibility for ensuring cost, schedule, and performance integrity across major cost-reimbursable, cost-redeterminable contracts, directly supporting the readiness and capability of our nation’s defense systems, ensuring program success, contractual compliance, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead CAM reviews including metric, staffing, and timephasing.
• Update: Update performance metrics at least monthly and utilize validity checks to verify data integrity.
• Craft: Craft clear and concise variance explanations for program performance.
• Reconcile: Reconcile Earned Value (EV) data with the accounting book of record.
• Prepare: Prepare quarterly and annual comprehensive Estimate At Complete (EAC) presentations for program leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates typically require a University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years experience. This experience must be in program finance, cost analysis, or Earned Value Management (EVM) roles, specifically supporting large defense or aerospace programs.
• Experience: At least 5 years (or 3 with an Advanced Degree) of hands-on experience in program finance, cost analysis, or EVM within the defense or aerospace sector. Demonstrated experience with generating accurate sales and financial forecasts is essential for this role.
• Skills: A deep understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles, including compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements and EIA-748 guidelines is critical. U.S. citizenship is required, and an active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required after day 1. The role demands technical mastery, independent judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with peers and program leadership.
• Bonus: Preference for candidates with experience utilizing industry-standard EVM tools such as Cobra, Empower, wInsight, or EVMS forProject. Prior experience collaborating with government agencies like DCMA and DCAA is highly valued, as is experience influencing without authority to drive disciplined program execution.
