Sr. Demand Planning Analyst | Brunswick Corporation
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Brunswick Corporation, located in Fond du Lac, WI with a hybrid work category. Brunswick is a global marine leader that develops next-generation technologies to transform experiences on the water. Innovation is the heart of Brunswick, and this role is critical to the company’s integrated Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process by translating market intelligence and business strategies into actionable demand forecasts for Mercury propulsion products. This position supports business growth, inventory optimization, and operational decision-making.

• Pay: $73600–$106200 yearly
• Team: Part of the Demand Planning team, no direct reports.
• Mission: Lead the development and management of an 18-month rolling demand plan for Mercury propulsion products as a critical input into the SIOP process.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, business intelligence/reporting tools, Oracle, Demantra, SAP IBP, Kinaxis
What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecasting: Lead the development, validation, and maintenance of demand forecasts for assigned propulsion product families and customer channels by integrating various data sources.
• Process Ownership: Own the monthly demand planning process, facilitating cross-functional discussions to achieve alignment on volume, mix, timing, assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
• Analysis & Insights: Analyze demand trends, forecast performance, and key business drivers to provide actionable recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Cross-functional Partnership: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Operations teams to improve forecast visibility and strengthen demand signal quality.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the forecasting and demand planning process through advanced analytics, automation, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, Market Research, or similar discipline).
• Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, forecasting, or analytics, including leading cross-functional planning processes and influencing decisions.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced communication and presentation skills, experience utilizing statistical forecasting techniques, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence/reporting tools.
• Bonus: CPIM, CSCP, CPF, or APICS certification; experience with Oracle, Demantra, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or other demand planning/forecasting platforms; experience leading forecasting transformation or process improvement initiatives; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
