Description: Senior Associate Intern (Advisory Practice)
This internship offers a significant opportunity to gain practical experience and build skills within PwC’s Advisory practice. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, including partners and directors, and directly with clients. The role is designed to provide graduate-level responsibilities and exposure to real-world client projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working as part of a problem-solving team within the Advisory practice, contributing to projects in Management consulting, Risk consulting, or Technology consulting.
• Supporting practitioners and other professionals on a daily basis.
• Contributing to the development of strategic analyses and client deliverables.
• Building collaborative relationships with team members.
• Collecting, analyzing, and utilizing relevant business and industry trend information using numerical and strategic analysis techniques.
• Effectively communicating complex information to various audiences (written and oral).
• Managing multiple tasks and balancing time effectively while maintaining quality of work.
• Adhering to professional standards and PwC’s code of ethics.
• Developing an understanding of how PwC operates as a business and adds value to clients.
• Utilizing tools, techniques, and firm standard methodologies for research, analysis, and problem-solving.
• Keeping up-to-date with technical developments in the chosen business area.
• Embracing diverse perspectives and welcoming differing ideas.
Required Currently pursuings:
• Minimum of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Currently pursuings:
• Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Major GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Proven success in relevant industry or functional experience demonstrating progressive career advancement and academic achievement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to work effectively in teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed for client assignments.
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range is $84,000 – $202,000 (prorated for internship duration). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, and vacation time. Specific compensation will depend on individual skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. (Note: Stipend range provided is specific to Maryland-based roles).
