Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance | Madison Energy Infrastructure
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Madison Energy Infrastructure. The company is a preeminent developer, investor, and operator of distributed generation, with a robust portfolio consisting of over half a gigawatt of clean energy infrastructure projects across more than 25 states. This Senior Analyst role is central to the company’s capital formation and growth strategy, directly contributing to the capital raises and strategic acquisitions that fuel the rapidly growing platform.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Capital Raises: Support MEI’s capital raises, including preparing investor materials, managing data rooms, and coordinating diligence responses.
• M&A Management: Manage modeling and diligence workstreams for platform and operating portfolio M&A opportunities, from initial screening through close.
• Underwriting Refinement: Review project-level models and refine underwriting criteria to support capital allocation decisions.
• Stakeholder Presentations: Prepare presentations and analysis for senior leadership, the board, and external stakeholders.
• Initiative Support: Support other strategic finance initiatives on an as-needed basis.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in project finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a related finance discipline.
• Skills: Advanced Excel and financial modeling; proficiency with PowerPoint and data/BI tools (e.g., Power BI); detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and comfortable working through ambiguity while managing multiple workstreams.
