What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by executing security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Incident Response: Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to leadership.
• Patrols: Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support access control procedures for staff, visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
• Reporting: Assist with incident reporting, shift activity logs, and communication of policy violations, maintenance concerns, or emergency conditions according to site guidelines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: This position is primarily a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license.
• Skills: Provide effective customer service, respond to incidents calmly, conduct thorough patrols, monitor access points, and assist with reporting.
• Bonus: Access control and badge experience, CPR and First Aid certification, comfort using a computer or tablet.
