The Tone:
This is a full-time Security Guard position at Treeline Security, located in San Francisco, CA. Treeline Security provides client-specific security management services, going beyond traditional security models by adapting to the unique needs of each client. The company is comprised of a network of sworn and retired law enforcement, active military, professional security experts, and event and project management consultants. This role is critical for maintaining a safe and secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property, contributing significantly to asset protection and the preservation of a secure workplace atmosphere.

• Pay: $21.2–$23 hourly

• Mission: This person maintains a safe and secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property through vigilant monitoring, proactive hazard identification, and effective response to security breaches.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all personnel, visitors, and property within assigned premises.
• Conduct active foot patrols outside during all types of weather, engaging and de-escalating situations as needed.
• Monitor access points to ensure only authorized individuals enter the facility and prevent security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, investigate disturbances, and assist with evacuations during emergencies like fires or storms.
• Document incidents by writing comprehensive reports and collaborate with security management to review and improve procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must possess an active CA Guard Card and have a minimum of two years of hands-on security experience.
• Experience: Requires 2-3 years of practical security experience, with the ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals, and to complete written reports and correspondence.
• Skills: Ability to de-escalate situations, patrol on foot outside in all types of weather, and project an image of friendliness, presentability, and professionalism.
• Bonus: Customer service experience and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of demographics.
