What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, offering suggestions, providing preparation information, taking orders, and promptly resolving concerns.
• Product Merchandising: Manage product displays and quality by setting up attractive arrangements, rotating merchandise, ensuring accurate pricing, and removing non-saleable items.
• Seafood Preparation: Prepare and handle seafood products, accurately weighing and wrapping items for customers, maintaining freshness logs, and adhering to all food safety standards.
• Department Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary seafood department by following established cleaning schedules and ensuring work areas, equipment, and display cases meet health and OSHA requirements.
• Inventory Support: Assist in controlling inventory through proper ordering practices, minimizing losses by returning products to refrigeration promptly, and reporting any stock discrepancies to management.

• Background: Completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience: None required.
