• Pay: $18.00–$22.84 hourly
• Team: Rubenstein Library’s Sallie Bingham Center for Women’s History and Culture (SBC)
• Mission: To preserve, describe, and make accessible archival collections documenting women’s history, culture, and lived experiences.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collections Intake: Assist with collections intake by arranging and rehousing manuscript materials and creating records in ArchivesSpace.
• Archival Processing: Process archival and manuscript collections, assessing organizational, arrangement, and preservation needs.
• Descriptive Tools Creation: Create descriptive tools for collections, including finding aids and catalog records.
• Material Support: Support the processing of print materials as needed and assist librarians with special projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in a master’s program in Public History or an ALA‑accredited MLIS program (or equivalent).
• Experience: Current enrollment in a relevant master’s program. Experience in special collections or completion of archival theory/practice coursework is preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; initiative and adaptability; high attention to detail.
• Bonus: Academic or activist background in women’s studies or women’s history.
