Sales Representative, Small Business Services | ADP

• Mission: Acquire new clients with 1-49 employees for ADP’s payroll, HR, and other solutions, and strategically sell additional solutions to existing clients.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads from business partners, assess client needs, and present tailored ADP solutions.
• Sales Execution: Spend time in the field closing business, working independently and collaboratively to win new clients and achieve sales goals.
• Strategic Outreach: Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
• Account Expansion: Strategically cultivate additional business within existing client accounts by selling cloud-based human resources solutions and more.
• Trusted Advisor: Serve as an ADP ambassador, partner, and trusted advisor to clients, internal partners, and your overall network, demonstrating high ethical standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career; focuses on business development and sales acumen, college degree preferred but not required.
• Experience: One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry, OR military experience.
• Skills: Upbeat, persistent style with the ability to cold call without fear of rejection; effective time management; clear professional presentation of ideas on paper, in-person, and over the phone; problem-solving and solution-seeking in fast-paced change; continuous learning and questioning to improve processes.
• Bonus: Prior quota-carrying experience; ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
