Sales Representative, Small Business Services | ADP

• Mission: Identify and acquire new small business clients, while expanding solutions for existing accounts, for ADP’s payroll, tax, HR, and benefits offerings.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Development: Work independently and collaboratively within an assigned geographic territory to identify and sign new clients with 1-49 employees for ADP solutions.
• Client Engagement: Cultivate relationships, set appointments, and gather leads from established business partners.
• Solution Presentation: Assess client or prospect needs to present the best ADP solutions, focusing time in the field to close new business.
• Account Expansion: Sell additional solutions to existing clients, strategically deepening relationships across the ADP family.
• Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career individuals with prior work experience or military service.
• Experience: One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or a relevant industry; alternatively, military experience.
• Skills: Demonstrate integrity, resilience, positivity, and a refuse-to-lose attitude. Possess an upbeat, persistent style with the ability to cold call, manage time effectively, and present ideas clearly in person, on paper, and over the phone. Exhibit problem-solving skills to find solutions amidst fast-paced change, and maintain a continuous learning mindset.
• Bonus: Prior quota-carrying experience. Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
