Sales Representative – Vector Marketing / Cutco

Vector Marketing has immediate openings for Sales Representative positions, offering the opportunity to start work within the week! This is a fantastic entry-level sales position suitable for individuals seeking part-time or flexible work opportunities.

Basic Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative, your core responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with customers to explain our American-made Cutco products.
• Effectively selling the features and benefits of our diverse product range, which includes everything from kitchen essentials to gardening tools.
• Placing customer orders efficiently.
• No previous experience is necessary, as we provide all the training needed for success.

Position Details

• Compensation Structure: Our reps are paid a $24.00 base-appt (base pay per qualified appointment) that is not based on sales or results. Commissions are available based on performance, allowing reps to earn more. Even if a rep has an “off week,” they are still paid for the work they did.
• Comprehensive Training: Full training is provided to equip you with all the necessary skills. Even if you don’t stay long-term, you will build valuable communication, networking, and sales skills applicable to any professional field.
• Flexible Work Schedule: We offer significant flexibility to work around busy schedules. Whether you need to accommodate classes, a full-time job, internships, or family obligations, we can help set up a schedule that works best for you.
• Local Work: After initial training, reps work locally. Meetings and ongoing training sessions are held in our office.

Basic Requirements

We are looking for individuals who meet the following basic criteria:

• Enjoys working with people.
• Must be 18 years of age or older, or 17 and a high school graduate (conditions apply).
• Able to interview within the week.
• Willing to learn and apply new skills.

Ideal Candidate

Successful reps at Vector Marketing come from a variety of backgrounds. People who have done well with us have previously held positions in fast food, grocery stores, warehouses, landscaping, retail, cashier, customer service, reception, and many other fields. Some of our most successful reps have had no traditional work experience but possessed a positive attitude and genuinely enjoyed interacting with people.
