Minimum Position Qualifications/Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

Essential Job Functions

  • Customer Service Excellence: Model and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service, prioritizing the customer experience.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet personal targets that drive sales, including credit applications and protection plan attachment rates.
  • Promote Events: Actively promote Diamond Parties and special events with every customer.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with teammates towards store goals, fostering a positive working atmosphere, and supporting each other to enhance team performance.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Foster life-long emotional connections with customers through clienteling.
  • Product Expertise: Provide detailed product knowledge, features, and benefits to all customers when presenting merchandise.
  • Jewelry Consultation: Advise customers on the quality, cuts, and/or value of jewelry and gems, and assist in selecting mountings and/or settings.
  • Meeting Attendance: Attend all required monthly meetings.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate the point of sale (POS) system and process payments or obtain credit authorization.
  • Jewelry Services: Inspect and clean customers’ jewelry, provide estimates for jewelry and watch repairs, and perform watch battery replacements and watch band adjustments.
  • Inventory and Merchandising: Follow receiving and processing procedures, display merchandise and promotional materials in accordance with corporate merchandising plans, participate in the inventory process, and complete case counts.
  • Store Operations: Perform business opening and closing procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedures Guide.
  • Maintenance: Perform basic housekeeping duties, such as vacuuming carpets, cleaning display surfaces, cleaning merchandise, and washing windows.
  • Safety & Security: Maintain the safety and security of the location by following all Loss Prevention and Security policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility: Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
