Job Description: Sales Intern
This is a paid, 6-month internship requiring 10-20 hours per week, with a hybrid work model based in NYC. The Sales Intern will play a crucial role in supporting Barrieré’s wholesale business expansion, providing hands-on experience in a fast-moving wellness brand environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Prospecting & Research: Develop and refine wholesale lead lists, identifying potential stockists across various store types and geographical regions.
• Database Management: Maintain and update wholesale contact information and sales records to ensure accuracy.
• Follow-up Support: Monitor sample shipments to potential stockists and assist with subsequent outreach efforts.
• Sales Team Access: Participate in weekly sales calls, contribute ideas, and gain insight into wholesale strategy development and execution.
• Merchandising Support: Contact retail partners to verify current stock levels, product placement, and overall visibility within their stores.
Who You Are:
• A student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related academic field.
• An effective communicator comfortable with email correspondence, phone calls, and general networking.
• Naturally curious, highly organized, and resourceful, with a keen interest in research and identifying new opportunities.
• Possessing a genuine interest in wholesale operations, retail partnerships, and the beauty/wellness industry.
