The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at Search Services, joining a growing, publicly traded investment company. This organization focuses on diverse investment strategies and is expanding its corporate team. This rotational position is vital for accurately valuing the firm’s investments on a quarterly basis, serving as a critical step in establishing internal relationships and learning the company’s operations. The role offers a structured pathway to advance into a commercial deal team, providing direct experience in M&A and corporate finance.

• Team: Corporate team, initially assisting with valuations, with a clear path to join a commercial deal team.
• Mission: Assist in valuing the firm’s investments quarterly and engage in a rotational program to establish company relationships and gain M&A and corporate finance experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist a team in valuing the firm’s investments on a quarterly basis and engage in specific valuation projects.
• Support the preparation and compilation of SEC reporting requirements.
• Contribute to various corporate accounting functions and processes.
• Aid in financial planning and analysis initiatives.
• Work on various other corporate projects to learn the business and establish internal relationships.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a strong academic record, possessing core domain knowledge gained from Big 4 Audit or Transactions Advisory experience.
• Experience: Requires 12 to 36 months of experience specifically within Big 4 Audit or Transactions Advisory practices.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities demonstrated by great academic performance, a thorough understanding of financial reporting principles, foundational knowledge of valuation methodologies, and high performance within a peer group.
• Bonus: CPA strongly preferred.
