The Tone:
This is a rotational leadership program at Castleton Commodities International, located in Stamford, Connecticut, and Houston, Texas. Castleton Commodities International is a leading global energy commodities merchant and infrastructure asset investor, deploying capital in physical and financial commodity markets and investing in select commodity infrastructure assets. This program is designed to identify and develop the next generation of leaders across Operations, Finance, and commercial businesses, providing comprehensive exposure and strategic understanding of global markets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Participate in up to four six-month rotations, gaining exposure to a variety of support functions including settlements, trading operations, treasury, credit, tax, enterprise improvement, data management, P&L, and product control.
• Collaborate: Gain exposure to the commercial side of the business and interact regularly with leaders of Operations, Finance, and commercial groups to understand their approach to global market opportunities.
• Strategize: Work on special projects focused on strategic initiatives and contribute to the organization’s overall strategy.
• Develop: Acquire a well-rounded understanding of the industry, leadership principles, and technical skills through dedicated training sessions.
• Learn: Deepen your understanding of market insights and operational capabilities by engaging with core functions and strategic projects within each rotation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Physics, or a related field of study, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027.
• Experience: Entry-level.
• Skills: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Possess superior communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work as an effective team player. Show a desire to make a difference and the ability to be forward-thinking.
• Bonus: Excellent analytical and technical skills in Excel, Python & SQL. Database management experience. Prior internship or exposure to the commodities markets, other financial institutions, or consulting experience is preferred.
