Room Attendant | Highgate

The Tone:
This is an early career, hourly position at Highgate, located in Duluth, GA. As a Room Attendant, you are essential to creating a positive guest experience by ensuring all guestrooms are meticulously clean and appealing, contributing directly to the company’s commitment to high service standards in the hospitality industry. • Mission: Maintain clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guestroom Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and prepare guestrooms in accordance with established standards.
• Cart Preparation: Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including gathering guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Waste and Linen Management: Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and designated hallways.
• Public Area Maintenance: Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
• Reporting and Inventory: Report any missing room items or maintenance repair needs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. No specific educational requirement; a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required; experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects. Ability to stand for the entire shift. Effective verbal and written communication with employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Bonus: High School diploma or equivalent, and/or experience in a hotel or a related field.
