Job Description: Robotics / Software Engineering Intern

HABIT is seeking a Robotics / Software Engineering Intern to contribute to the development of autonomous systems that operate outside of a lab environment. This intern will work on core autonomy challenges alongside the co-founders and founding engineers in a fast-paced environment. The intern will contribute to the early development of robots interacting with physical environments, real customers, and actual constraints.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the team on autonomy, perception, and control challenges.
• Build and test real-time ROS 2 components in live environments.
• Integrate sensors and mobility hardware on new robot prototypes.
• Collect, debug, and analyze field data to improve robot performance.
• Contribute to a system that will be deployed live during the internship.
