What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Promotional Performance: Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, their return on investment (ROI), and the efficiency of trade investment by leveraging and validating data obtained from the post-event analytics (PEA) tool to ensure accuracy and consistency of insights.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Continuously track and analyze key promotional performance indicators to identify specific opportunities for improving promotional efficiency and increasing overall profitability.
• Support Revenue Management Initiatives: Provide analytical assistance for critical aspects such as pricing strategies, the design of pack-price architecture, and comprehensive analyses of portfolio performance.
• Track Market Performance: Support the tracking of category, brand, and channel performance metrics, utilizing various existing internal tools to ensure consistent alignment with PepsiCo’s global internal views.
• Contribute to Financial Planning: Actively contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) initiatives by conducting thorough analyses, developing actionable recommendations, and meticulously tracking performance against established goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Marketing, indicating a strong foundational knowledge for this early career revenue management role.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to proficiently work with and analyze large datasets, extracting actionable insights and translating these complex findings into clear, concise business recommendations for various stakeholders.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with robust analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities. Native or fluent Spanish is required, alongside professional working proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Bonus: Familiarity with prominent market research and analytics platforms like Nielsen, Circana (IRI), or Kantar is considered a valuable asset for this position.
