What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Revenue Information: Systematically review, comprehensively summarize, and meticulously audit supporting revenue data received from all operating departments within the resort.
• Verify Financial Transactions: Diligently verify all incoming revenue paperwork originating from various revenue centers, and accurately book associated revenue and expenses to the general ledger.
• Process Financial Data: Accurately calculate, meticulously post, and thoroughly verify all incoming or historical financial data, then retrieve and format this information for specific financial records and reporting.
• Address Data Inconsistencies: Proactively recognize instances of incomplete or erroneous data, then determine and implement the appropriate corrective actions required to resolve these discrepancies and maintain data accuracy.
• Generate Financial Documentation: Efficiently compile, precisely sort, and accurately type essential financial records and reports, including vouchers, invoices, checks, detailed account statements, and other official documents.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A high school diploma is a fundamental requirement, coupled with an understanding of basic financial data handling and administrative processes.
• Experience: Proven experience utilizing Microsoft Office products for data entry and document creation. Demonstrated ability to efficiently operate standard office equipment, specifically possessing the skill to operate a 10-key calculator by touch.
• Skills: Exceptional detail-orientation for reviewing and verifying financial information, strong organizational capabilities for compiling and sorting documents, and the essential ability to obtain and maintain all necessary certifications and/or licenses as mandated by local gaming regulations.
