• Mission: This individual ensures the accurate scanning, logging, and processing of all returned products, maintaining integrity and safety within department operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Receipt & Logging: Accurately scan and log all returned products received in cart or pallet form, tracking for accuracy in a safe manner.
• Defective Goods Management: Handle the receipt of defective goods from vendor customers, including labeling, cleaning, discontinuing, recalling, and storing products accordingly.
• Information Integrity: Maintain the integrity of all product information as returned on a pallet/carton, ensuring proper input and generation through the RF system.
• Operational Compliance: Review and follow established procedures dictated by customer profiles, company policies, and regulations such as OSHA.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a manual pallet jack and a Radio Frequency Unit (RF Gun) within the assigned department.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires individuals with a solid foundational understanding of warehousing and returns processes, contributing to Skechers’ commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Experience: Candidates should have 1 or more years of experience in warehousing or returns, or an equivalent background that demonstrates proficiency in product handling and inventory management. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred for this position.
• Skills:
• Proven ability to safely operate a manual pallet jack and a Radio Frequency Unit (RF Gun) for efficient product movement and tracking.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Skechers customized programs, including DOPS, Gar Pac, and PKMS, as well as general computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the integrity of all product information, from scanning and logging to documenting and storing, in compliance with customer profiles and internal procedures.
• Strong commitment to working safely and professionally, consistently adhering to all company policies and procedures, including OSHA and departmental regulations.
