Retail Station Team Member | Chevron Stations Inc (CSI)
The Tone:
This is a full-time and part-time role at Chevron Stations Inc (CSI), located in San Francisco, CA. CSI operates retail stations that sell gasoline and convenience products. This role is crucial for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and accurately managing sales and product availability, directly contributing to the station’s success and customer satisfaction.

• Mission: Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient retail station environment while delivering exceptional customer service and accurate sales management.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional guest service by greeting, thanking, and making eye contact with all customers.
• Sales Transactions: Accurately and safely conduct all point-of-sale activities, including retail and fuel sales, processing multiple forms of payment.
• Cash Management: Maintain cash drawer levels and perform reconciliation at shift end to ensure accurate sales management according to company policies.
• Facility Maintenance: Consistently clean and maintain indoor and outdoor station facilities, including restrooms, islands, pumps, and car wash where applicable.
• Food & Inventory Management: Prepare food and hot beverage products, manage foodservice inventory, and actively promote store specials, ensuring shelves are continuously stocked.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be proficient in English to understand policies, safety training, and effectively communicate with customers. Required age is at least 18 years old (21 for Washington locations or graveyard shifts) and possession of up-to-date food handling certificates where legally required.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required for this role.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to handle challenging situations professionally, exercise exceptional judgment, and capability to work both independently and within team settings.
• Bonus: Prior cooking or restaurant experience is preferred.
