The company’s core business revolves around travel stops, complemented by various products and services that provide value for professional drivers, fleets, the traveling public, RVers, alternative energy, and wholesale fuel customers. This Retail Management Internship is an 11-week program designed to provide hands-on experience in managing high-volume, fast-paced travel centers, including food service and truck care operations, ultimately setting interns on a path toward a rewarding career with Love’s.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Train across various operational areas including store, fuel, food service, and truck care operations.

• Leadership: Acquire practical skills in team leadership, effective staffing, and employee development practices.
• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service and gain experience in resolving customer issues effectively.
• Merchandising & Inventory: Assist with merchandising strategies, manage inventory levels, and ensure adherence to operational standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing an Associate Degree or higher in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific prior experience required; demonstrated willingness to learn by doing in a customer-focused environment.
• Skills: Effective communication and customer interaction skills, with demonstrated potential for leadership. Ability to navigate various computer programs, systems, and technology tools for daily operations.
