The Tone:
This is a Restaurant Manager Trainee position at Circle K, located in Gainesville, Florida. Circle K operates a vast network of convenience stores and restaurants, and this role specifically supports a Little Caesars restaurant within one of their locations. The individual in this role will undergo training to manage all facets of the restaurant’s daily operations. This includes overseeing people, operations, and financial metrics to ensure exceptional guest service and contribute to the restaurant’s overall success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Service: Provide excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner, coaching team members as necessary to maintain high standards.
• Team Lifecycle Management: Recruit, interview, select, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and apply progressive discipline for all restaurant team members.
• Operational & Food Safety Standards: Direct the team to ensure all food items are prepared and served in accordance with Brand, Company, and health department regulations.
• Financial & Inventory Control: Monitor and ensure the accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records, completing necessary administrative duties.
• Restaurant Environment & Safety: Maintain a clean restaurant environment, delegate housekeeping duties, and guarantee a safe setting for team members and guests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is a management training role preparing for restaurant manager duties, focusing on operational oversight.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of restaurant management experience preferred, with a valid state Driver’s License required.
• Skills: Excellent communication, ability to motivate and coach team members, acting with integrity, a positive attitude, conflict management, sense of urgency, and leadership by example.
• Bonus: Serv Safe© Manager certification preferred.
