Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) – New Graduate
Location: Select Specialty Hospital – Columbus – Vic Village
Schedule: Full-time / 12-hour shifts / Nights
Compensation: $35 per hour
Sign-on Bonus: $15,000

Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan tailored to their specific needs.
- Providing advanced respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Actively promoting continuous quality improvement initiatives within the department and hospital.
- Teaching and counseling patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatments, and home care.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support patient care and hospital operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program for Respiratory Therapy.
- Must possess an “Active” CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or an equivalent state credential.
- Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Current state licensure required. A student or educational permit to practice is acceptable based on individual state regulations.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire.
