This role is crucial for a smart, curious individual interested in learning the executive search business and contributing significantly across client engagements through deep research and a consultative process. • Mission: Identify and research potential executive candidates, companies, and markets, and prepare accurate client-facing materials to support high-performing leadership teams for private equity investors.
• Tech Stack: LinkedIn Recruiter, databases, online research, AI-enabled tools, firm’s CRM, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct targeted candidate sourcing and comprehensive market research for executive search assignments across diverse industries and functions.
• Analysis: Identify potential candidates, research companies, organizational structures, executives, and competitive landscapes using various methodologies.
• Materials: Prepare accurate, polished client-facing materials, including candidate profiles, search updates, research summaries, and presentations.
• Execution: Support the search process by maintaining accurate candidate and company information, preparing for client meetings, and ensuring efficient progress.
• Technology: Become a proficient user of firm technology platforms and research tools, exploring and implementing practical uses of AI and emerging technologies for process improvement.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record; aptitude, judgment, curiosity, and work ethic are highly valued.
• Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience; exceptional candidates directly out of college are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong analytical and research skills, excellent attention to detail, strong written communication skills, strong organizational skills, high level of comfort with technology (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Bonus: Prior experience with executive search, recruiting, private equity, or professional services.
