What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Extraction: Isolate key details by reading extensive corporate filings, performance logs, and internal strategy papers.
• Data Structuring & Verification: Structure and verify quantitative data to ensure every figure in final briefs is completely accurate.
• Report Drafting: Draft the initial descriptive portions of advisory memoranda, translating numerical findings into precise, plain English.
• Background Research: Perform targeted background research on market conditions and corporate histories to support principals’ analytical assessments.
• Factual Verification: Cross-reference and draft, ensuring every factual claim can be traced back to a specific, verified source.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for someone early in their analytical career with a strong academic background in fields emphasizing rigorous research and writing, such as economics, history, literature, or finance.
• Experience: No years of prior experience required, but comfort working with quantitative data, including knowing how to work with spreadsheets, verify totals, and identify anomalies.
• Skills: An exceptional standard of written English for drafting concise, formal prose; the ability to work independently and manage time effectively; and strict respect for confidentiality.
