Rental Sales Management Trainee | Ryder System, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ryder System, Inc., with the initial training location not specified, but requiring relocation within the region or US upon completion of the program. The TL;DR

• Pay: $50000–$52000 yearly
• Mission: To complete an accelerated management training program covering finance, operations, human resources, and sales/marketing to prepare for a management role within Ryder’s rental business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Lead Generation: Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads to support business growth.
• Customer Interaction: Handle sales processes for inbound calls and conduct outbound solicitations.
• Asset Management: Manage all rental asset processes, including ensuring vehicle preventative maintenance and adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Market Share Execution: Meet overall Ryder market share objectives by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives.
• Customer Resolution: Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the customer base.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration or a similar related degree.
• Experience: One (1) year or more of customer service experience with issues resolution is preferred.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus: Ability to relocate within the region or US at the conclusion of the training program is required.
