What You’ll Actually Do
• Care Coordination: Coordinate care for acutely ill neonates in intensive and acute care settings.
• Data Presentation: Present pertinent patient data to the medical staff.
• Diagnostic Interpretation: Collect and interpret diagnostic lab, radiographic, and clinical study reports.
• Delivery Assistance: Attend high-risk deliveries and assist with neonatal resuscitation activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current Registered Nurse licensure in Michigan and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Neonatal Specialty.
• Experience: Current RN experience and ability to function under direct NNP supervision, with preferred knowledge of neonate treatment modalities.
• Skills: Collecting and interpreting diagnostic data, coordinating clinical care, and assisting with neonatal resuscitation.
