What You’ll Actually Do
• Assessment: Collaborate with CRNA to prepare preoperative assessments including health histories and physical examinations.
• Care Plan: Develop the Anesthesia Care Plan with the CRNA and Anesthesiologist.
• Patient Monitoring: Contribute to appropriate perioperative anesthesia care and monitor patient records.
• Postoperative Care: Complete postoperative evaluations in accordance with department policies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master degree with graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program by September 1, 2026.
• Experience: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan; successful completion of the National Certification Exam (NCE) within 45 days of graduation.
• Skills: Current ACLS and BLS certification; ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including lead vests and PAPR.
