Job Title: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

Role Summary:
UWH seeks an enthusiastic and self-motivated Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join a team committed to delivering high-quality virtual nutrition and lifestyle services to women. RDNs play an integral role in supporting women’s health across the lifespan, particularly in relation to natural hormone changes, metabolic health, and chronic disease risk. This role involves close collaboration with OB/GYN physicians and other interdisciplinary health team members. Services are delivered primarily through 1:1 telehealth sessions and chat/SMS communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver customized patient plans via 1:1 telehealth sessions, based on personal goals, medical intake, clinical assessment, and prior encounters with medical providers.
• Utilize a HIPAA compliant EMR for care delivery and documentation post-appointment, including key topics discussed, supportive and actionable strategies, and relevant educational resources.
Refer patients to other clinicians when necessary.
Collaborate clinically with an interdisciplinary health team, including other dietitians, medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, and patient care team, focusing on patient goals and relevant medical history.
Manage patient accountability plans through SMS texting.
Maintain RDN state license as required.
• Ensure consistent and reliable access to services through a quiet and connected workspace.

Qualifications:

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
Current RDN credential.
Active state licensure in one or more of the following states: NC, FL, TX, WA, NY, GA, TN, and/or OH.
Ideally 4+ years (minimum of 2 years) of nutrition coaching/counseling experience.
Proven experience in motivational interviewing and behavior change skills.
Professional experience supporting female hormone transitions across the lifespan and addressing concerns such as:
• Weight management (with and without weight loss medications)
• PCOS
• Fertility
• Pre-diabetes
• Cardiometabolic health
• Peri and post-menopause
Proven experience using technology in a telehealth environment, including utilization of an EMR (Athena ideal), Microsoft 365, and remote-based communication systems (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Meetings).
Proven experience working independently, efficiently, and collaboratively in a remote team environment spanning clinicians, dietitians, clinical operations, and technology experts.
Proven agility to thrive in a culture of learning, change, and uncharted opportunities to advance women’s health.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Experience speaking Spanish in a medical care setting is a plus.
Proven experience helping patients find creative, realistic solutions to help them meet their goals.
• Experience working in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Must hold a current RDN license.
Commitment 90 days prior to official start day to allow for insurance credentialing.
Participation in a two-week training provided as part of onboarding.
Minimum of 20 hours/week with the option to increase based on availability and market demand.
