Detailed Job Description: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Childwise ABA is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join their team. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.

• Position Type: Full-time, Part-time
• Expected Hours: 12-40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Weekends as needed. Choose your own hours.
• Pay: $18-22 per hour
• Patient Demographics: Infants, Children, Teenagers
• Work Setting: Home & Community Centers

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior plans: Execute behavior plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Direct Therapy: Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Data Collection: Collect and record data on patient behavior accurately and consistently.
• Care Plan Assistance: Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• ABA Techniques: Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support patients in achieving their goals.
• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support patients with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
• Behavior Management: Monitor and manage patient behaviors effectively using appropriate strategies.

Required Skills:

• Medical Terminology: Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Care Plans & ADLs: Familiarity with care plans and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Medical Documentation & HIPAA: Proficiency in medical documentation and HIPAA regulations.
• Behavioral Therapy & Patient Care: Experience in behavioral therapy and patient care.
• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): Understanding of applied behavior analysis principles.
• Behavior Management: Ability to manage behaviors effectively.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Developmental Disabilities: Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
