• Mission: Manage and grow a portfolio of Chinese Corporate clients across APAC, focusing on origination, returns discipline, and credit risk accountability.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Oversee a portfolio of Chinese Corporate clients across APAC (excluding Japan), encompassing origination, returns discipline, and credit risk accountability.
• Collaborate: Work closely with local, regional, and global colleagues to grow the business and support client priorities.
• Originate: Identify and pursue new client opportunities while fostering growth with existing client relationships across 14 countries and all bank products.
• Elevate: Strengthen APAC relationships to headquarter, CEO, CFO, and APAC regional head levels to advance the MUFG strategic agenda.
• Coordinate: Control and coordinate credit matters, including the preparation of instructions, conditions, required reports, and documentation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Degree qualified with a career level of Vice President or Director within the Global Subsidiaries Banking space.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years (for VP) or 15 years (for Director) experience dealing with Mandarin speaking corporate clients, including regional experience, with a proven track record of building relationships, winning business, and closing transactions.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal command of Mandarin, solid understanding of corporate banking products and services, robust stakeholder management capabilities, and in-depth knowledge of local finance laws and regulations across APAC.
